Ghana’s #1 and #2 ranked George Darko and Wisdom Na-Adjrago won gold medal at the 11th edition of All Africa Games in Brazzaville-Congo in men’s double tennis .  They defeated Denis Indondo and Sama Inkulufa from DR Congo in a 6-4, 6-4 encounter, the match halted at 6-4, 1-1 owing to poor lighting and continued on Thursday.

The two, though fierce competitors when it comes to single matches in Ghana are  very close friends and often pair up for double competitions. In 2014, they won Babolat doubles Champions after displaying serious court-craft and synergy both requirements for splendid doubles tennis.

While for George Darko the 2015 AAG is his second call to national duty, Wisdom Na-Adjrago is representing Ghana for the first time at the senior stage and their victory is  Golden Rackets’ first medal at the All Africa Games.

Darko and Na-Adjrago were both eliminated in the men’s singles category at the Round 3.
